Latest Awards Recognitions conferred on Dr Rita Malhotra:
*Dr. Malhotra was
honoured by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Romania on the occasion of
The Romanian National Day for outstanding merit in promoting Romanian and
Universal values in international relations in Dec 2012.
*Dr Rita’s co-authored
research Paper in mathematics titled “A Cost-Pipeline Trade-off in a
Transportation Problem” was published in the Yugoslavian Journal of Operations
Research in 2013
*Writers International Network Canada awarded Dr Malhotra The Visionary Poet Award 2013 at
City of Richmond,Canada.
*Dr Rita was an invited
panelist at a programme on “Violence against Women” organized by The india
International Centre ,Delhi in March 2013
*Dr Rita was one of the six
poets invited to read at a literary evening organised by The Poetry Society of
India and International Centre, Delhi in September 2013, in tribute to the
victims of The Uttarakhand Disaster.
*Dr Rita Convened a programme called
“Remembering the Poet” in memory of Late Eminent Indian-English Poet Shri
Rakshat Puri in August 2013 under the aegis of The Poetry Society of India.
*Dr Rita was the lead speaker
at the Winter Seminar in Mathematics organized for the Faculty Members of The
Spring Dales Schools in Delhi.
*Dr RITA was an invited
delegate at The International Poetry Meet at Andhra Pradesh in 2013.Her poems
have been published in the Anthology called The Enchanted World at Guntur A.P.
*Dr Rita delivered the invited inaugural talk of the RAMANUJAN
MATHEMATICS ASSOCIATION at Soka Ikeda College,Madras University on the 5th
of December 2013.
*2014:Dr Rita was
interviewed by poet D. Bhattacharya on her latest publication of verse called “I
remain the ignited woman” on Prasar Bharati, the National Channel of All India
Radio.
*2014: Dr Rita was
selected for included in:Anthology of
Indian Women poets writing in English called Suvarnarekha, edited by Dr Nandini Sahu.
*Dr Rita Malhotra was invited for the
prestigious international poets meet in September 2014 held at Sibiu,Romania which earned the distinction of being the
European cultural capital in 2007.
*The collaborative evening with The Hungarian Culture and Information Centre, Embassy of Hungary on Indian and Hungarian Poetry called ‘Musings and Melodies’ dedicated itself to rendition of poetry on nationalism,
nature and love interspersed with Music on the 11th of September 2014. Dr Rita Malhotra Vice-Principal, Kamla Nehru College, University of Delhi and president, Poetry Across

* Malhotra’s poems/essays
are published in literary anthologies and journals in India, USA, Wales, Australia,
South-Africa, Taiwan, China, Mauritius, Serbia, Romania, Nicaragua, Canada, Japan and Mongolia and have been translated into Chinese, Romanian, Serbian, Spanish,
Japanese, Turkish, French, Hindi, Bengali and Telegu. She has presented
her compositions/Literary Essays etc as invited delegate in most of the above-mentioned countries.
